Build Real Systems
Like many, I started tinkering with code out of pure curiosity. I wanted to know how the web worked, which led me down the rabbit hole of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
I quickly realized that reading documentation wasn't enough. I needed to build. My first projects were messy, but the struggle of debugging taught me more than any tutorial ever did.
Frontend was fun, but I wanted to understand data. Discovering backend engineering changed everything. I started working deeply with Django and building robust APIs.
As user expectations grew, I adopted Next.js for the frontend. Combining the robust architecture of Django with the speed and DX of Next.js became my core stack.
Code is useless if it only works on your local machine. I forced myself to learn Linux, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to understand how real software is shipped and maintained.
I noticed a massive gap in online education. Most tutorials teach you how to build a basic CRUD app, but they stop right before teaching you how to architect a scalable system or deploy it securely.
I created this cohort to bridge that gap. I want to teach the messy, difficult, but incredibly rewarding parts of production engineering that you can't learn from a 10-minute video.
There is a fundamental difference between following a tutorial and becoming an engineer.
Students learn by building real systems. We don't spend weeks on theory; we write code, break it, and fix it.
Not just code. We dive deep into architecture and decisions. Why use this database? Why cache here?
Learn deployment, Linux, infrastructure, and workflows from day one. Code isn't done until it's live.
Direct guidance accelerates learning. Having someone review your code and answer questions is invaluable.
Technology changes.
Engineering principles last.
Build projects.
Not tutorials.
Learn systems.
Not just syntax.
Understand deployment.
Not just development.
Learning isn't just watching a screen for 2 hours. It's about what happens in between the sessions.
1-on-1 support when you're completely stuck on a bug.
A private Discord of driven engineers building alongside you.
Real code reviews pointing out architecture and security flaws.
Deadlines and assignments to ensure you actually ship.
Not ready for a cohort? I publish deep-dive engineering tutorials on YouTube and maintain free community resources.
This program is for developers who want to move beyond basic tutorials and understand how real production systems are built, deployed, and scaled.
You should know the basics of programming (variables, loops, functions). Complete beginners might find the pace challenging, but dedicated learners are welcome.
Next.js is the industry standard for React frameworks, and Django is an incredibly robust, battle-tested backend framework. Together, they form a powerful, scalable modern stack.
Almost all production servers run Linux. If you don't understand the command line, permissions, and basic bash scripting, you aren't a complete engineer.
Tutorials show you the 'happy path' for building a specific app. This cohort teaches you the underlying principles of architecture, debugging, and deployment so you can build anything.
If you're serious about becoming a better engineer, I'd love to help you through the journey.
